Long-exposure is a form to express photography in a slightly abstract way, the focus is forced to a sharp captured “object” and the water (and clouds) turn silky, somehow unnatural, but have a strong soothing element in it….for us it´s “Zen”. Finally we added a bit of tension to the foreground.

The extra blur makes this one seem almost terrestrial, but
the black at the bottom really balances it (I especially admire
the way the shadow of the biggest branch comes down into
the black to suggest the interpenetration of yang and yin).
